Rings for pad printing machine cups and cups

In the case of closed-system pad printing machines, the scraping of the ink film from the surface of the pad printing mold is done using a ring mounted on the machine cup.

The rings can be:

- ceramic or metal

- round or oval shaped

- of different sizes depending on the surface to be printed

- of different profiles; see the attached sketch

In the case of ceramic rings, the materials used are alumina and zirconia, and in the case of metal ones, sintered carbide is used.

Ceramic rings are recommended to be used with photopolymer plates, and metal ones with metal plates.
