Raster films

Raster film is a special film made of dots. The number of raster dots/cm2 and the exposure value expressed in % are the parameters of the raster film.

The choice of raster film is made depending on the fineness of the details of the image to be printed as follows:

- for fine lines, a 120/86% raster film will be used (120 dots/cm2 and 86 % black density)

- for medium lines, a 100/86% raster film will be used (100 dots/cm2 and 86 % black density)

- for thick lines, a 80/86% raster film will be used (80 dots/cm2 and 86 % black density)
