HISTORY

ELECTRONIC DESIGN & CONSULTING GROUP  srl was established in May 1990 due to the enthusiasm of four people cu very different specializations: computers hardware, software, chemistry and economics. As in case of many other companies born immediately after 1989, the thrill was brief for all the founding members and at the end of 1990 from four ,there were only two to continue.

In 1991 EDCG has changed from a " small business" company to a " limited liability" (srl) company). The following years , 1991-1997, have been very complicated but  with plenty of new experiences.

Due to the different expertise of the members, from 1996, in the company there were clearly two areas which developed separately: one, based on software projects and another, on specialty materials and technologies for printing techniques. The two fields had very different  structure, times for working, terms for the projects and payment conditions and the difficulties of managing them began to create problems; there for the one company split in two:  EDCGi activating in the software developing field and  EDCG, the present one, which  remained in the industry of materials and technologies for the graphic as well as the industrial printing.

Inthe spring of 1998, EDCG had five employee and 2 external collaborators, a rented office of 100sq.m and a company car model  Oltcit to cover the customers visits and the custom. 

Since 2008, EDCG srl became a company with his own headquarter-a new building with with offices, storage spaces, manufacturing shops for screen stencils and a lab for testing and more important , with a team of 20 people dedicated to their jobs.

The investments in the following years up to the present days, have mainly been in new equipment, personnel training and developing customer relations.
