Tension measuring instruments

In order to have repeatable results during the printing process it is imperative for  the screen tension to be controlled and mentained between some tolerance limits. The tension of the mesh is in general specified according to the DIN 16611 standard. On the market there are mechanical and electronical devices for measuring. Depending on the specific instrument, the measuring errors are higher or smaller.

The versions of SEFAR measuring instruments are mechanical -TetkoMat 10-100- and electronic Tensochek 100/200. These instruments have a precision that can be easily verified with a glass plate for calibration  ( available as an accessory). The glass plate for calibration is ISO 9001 certificated.
